The white-hot 10 p.m. medical drama averaged 22.5 million viewers and a 9.9 rating/23 share in the coveted adults 18-49 demographic, according to preliminary estimates from Nielsen Media Research.]oJ?o)

"Grey's" and "Housewives" coupled with two hours of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" at 7 p.m. (10.1 million, 3.9/11) and 8 p.m. (16.7 million, 6.8/16) put ABC miles ahead of its nearest competitor in total viewers (17.9 million) and adults 18-49 (7.4/18).%

CBS' highlight of the night was 8 p.m. drama "Cold Case" (15.1 million, 3.7/9). NBC's was 9 p.m.'s "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (12.3 million, 3.6/8) while 8 p.m.'s "The Simpsons" (9.7 million, 4.6/11) and 9 p.m.'s "Family Guy" (8 million, 4.1/9) kept the lights on for Fox.?
