In "a Brief History of Time" Professor Stephen Hawking addresses the whole arrow of time issue and the "solution" is really pretty basic. The fundamental thing about time is that we remember the past and not the future. This is because storing something in memory increases entropy, thus memory only works in the direction in which entropy increases i.e. from past to future.$^0 ©½t¥Í³N¼Æ¬ã¨sªÀ -- ³N¼Æ¬ã¨s¡@¡@ Y ¸É¥R¬ì¾Ç¤W Entropy ªº©w¸q

To make time machine possible, I think we have to work out an "entropy preservation" mechanism in order to save "our present memory". Otherwise, even our body can sustain the quantum "crunch" during time warping back to the past, we still wouldn't know we are from the future because of memory lost (entropy decreased).
Of course, warping to the future is another story. |bgw>
